Job Overview We are seeking a seasoned Senior License Compliance Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the timely renewal and ongoing regulatory compliance of business licenses, registrations, and certifications across multiple jurisdictions and industries. Key Responsibilities: Train and supervise individuals responsible for managing the full lifecycle of licenses and registrations across federal, state, and local jurisdictions. Conduct thorough licensing audits ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory standards. Manage the use of proprietary systems for tracking license information and renewal deadlines, ensuring licensing records are up-to-date. Oversee timely and accurate submissions of renewal applications and associated documentation to prevent lapses or penalties. Coordinate with internal departments (Legal, Compliance, Operations) and external regulatory agencies to support licensing needs for market expansion, business initiatives, and new product launches. Communicate progress on key licensing initiatives, challenges, and successes to leadership and stakeholders. Monitor changes in licensing regulations and communicate potential impacts to the organization. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operational processes, creating and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs). Build strong relationships with both internal and external contacts driving seamless licensing operations. Requirements A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Public Administration, or a related field. 1-3+ years of experience in licensing, compliance, or regulatory affairs, with a focus on Consumer Finance, Ancillary, or Motor Vehicle Dealer Licensing. 1+ year of experience in a management or leadership role, such as supervising staff, leading a project, or managing cross-functional teams. Strong knowledge of regulatory environments across multiple jurisdictions. Excellent organizational and project management skills. High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
