Dental Hygienist Role We are seeking an experienced dental hygienist to join our periodontal practice. As a skilled professional in the field of dentistry, you will be working with a supportive team and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a specialty setting and is looking for a flexible opportunity to build a full-time schedule. You will have the chance to work two days a week in our periodontal practice and can discuss additional days with us to create a full-time schedule that suits your needs. Key Responsibilities: To provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health, working closely with the dentist to deliver high-quality patient care. To maintain accurate records and documentation of patient treatment plans and progress. To stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, participating in ongoing training and education to enhance your skills and knowledge. Requirements: A current dental hygienist license in WI and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required). Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation. CPR Certification. Preferred Qualifications: Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems. A desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide high-quality care. Clinical needs as required by the office. Working Conditions: Prolonged periods sitting and standing. Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times. Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year. A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions.
