Job Description: This position involves the accurate and timely entry of surgical charges into a hospital's billing system. The individual selected for this role must be detail-oriented and possess a high level of accuracy when reviewing and verifying charge information. Education A graduate degree from an accredited program for Registered Nursing (Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred) R.N. with current licensure to practice in New Mexico Experience A minimum of 5 years experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least 1 year of experience working in an Operating Room environment 3 years of relevant experience in healthcare management information systems, including a minimum of 1 year project implementation team lead role Additional Requirements Strong computer skills, including proficiency in software applications used in healthcare settings Preferred Qualifications: Registered Nurse with a minimum of 8 years experience Exceptional leadership and problem-solving abilities Working Conditions: The majority of work will be performed in a general office and hospital setting, with occasional exposure to computer rooms and patient care environments The position may require some travel and flexibility in scheduling, including working outside of regular hours or long hours during critical periods
