4x10 hour day shifts with required on-call coverage at least two days per week and 1-2 weekends per 6-week schedule; minimum of 5 weekend shifts per contract Highlights: Cardiovascular OR specialization with an average of 3 cardiac cases per day Comprehensive case mix including CABG, TAVR, valve replacements, aortic aneurysm repair, and ECMO 13-week contract with opportunity for extensions up to three consecutive assignments Free parking provided at facility Pre-start modules eligible for up to 16 hours of paid orientation time Local candidates accepted at adjusted compensation within 50-100 mile radius Requirements: Active South Carolina RN license (must be active prior to start; pending licenses not accepted) Current ACLS, CNOR, and AHA BLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular OR experience required Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred Minimum 1 year experience with EPIC EMR system Proficiency in cardiovascular procedures including first assist, scrubbing CVOR cases, CABG, TAVR, valve repairs/replacements, and cell saver use Flu vaccination required with no exemptions Must reside at least 50 miles from primary facility (distance-based compensation adjustments apply) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This cardiovascular OR position offers the chance to work with a high-acuity cardiac surgery program serving adult and geriatric populations in a well-established healthcare system.
