Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a specialty in Emergency Room to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency department. The position involves caring for a diverse patient population, including adolescents to geriatrics. The emergency department is very large and busy, averaging 165 to 175 patients per day. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4. Certification in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS is required for this role. Candidates must have experience in handling high-acuity cases and must be stroke and STEMI certified. Knowledge of general emergency department procedures is essential. Ability to manage a variety of clinical situations, including those related to mental health conditions and respiratory issues, is necessary. Flexibility for scheduling is required, including working on weekends and certain holidays. Compliance with all necessary documentation and clinical screening is mandatory to ensure a timely start.
