36 hours per week; Two 10-hour shifts (6:30am-5:00pm) and two 8-hour shifts (6:30am-3:00pm); 2-3 weekends per contract Highlights: Advanced endoscopy procedures including ERCP with Spy Glass, EBUS, bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, EGD, and ION procedures Manageable patient ratios of 1:2 in a 3-room, 11-bed unit with average daily census of 20 Epic EMR and Pyxis medication management system First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of endoscopy experience Call requirements: 1 weekday call per week and 1 weekend call per 6-week schedule Up to 7 days of requested time off available per contract Requirements: Current Georgia or Compact State RN license (must be active at time of application) Minimum 1 year of endoscopy nursing experience ERCP experience required Current BLS and ACLS certifications Experience with bronchoscopy, EBUS procedures, colonoscopy, EGD, and conscious sedation administration and monitoring Proficiency with Epic charting system preferred Patient ratio experience with 1:2 assignments Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions available) Ability to complete compliance requirements and orientation within required timeframes Why It's a Great Opportunity: This endoscopy position offers the chance to work with a diverse adult and geriatric patient population while performing advanced gastrointestinal and pulmonary procedures in a well-supported, state-of-the-art environment.
