Experience: Two or more years of current high-risk labor and delivery experience License: Current RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, EFM, NST, EPIC, STABLE
Must-Have: - NCC EFM Certification - Advanced Provider NRP Certification through the American Academy of Pediatrics
Description: The role involves providing high-risk labor and delivery nursing care. Experience in high-risk labor and delivery is required. Candidates must hold a current EFM certification. The nurse will focus on monitoring and supporting high-risk patients throughout labor and delivery. Responsibilities may include performing non-stress tests and other assessments as needed. Float to areas of like skill set, including antepartum, postpartum, nursery, and mother/baby, may be required. The nurse/patient ratio is 1 nurse to 1-2 mothers and 1 nurse to 4 couplets. This position will contribute to a team in a high-acuity setting. A commitment to patient safety and quality care is essential. This is an opportunity to work within a collaborative healthcare team.
