Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in medical surgical care. The position involves working 3 twelve-hour shifts per week. The RN will care for patients across a wide range of care needs, including telemetry capabilities. Patient population includes young adults through geriatrics. The typical patient-to-nurse ratio is 1 nurse for every 6 patients. Weekend shifts will include half of the scheduled shifts. The unit consists of a combination of private and semi-private rooms. The ideal candidate will have experience with telemetry monitoring. Skills required include management of dysrhythmias, wound care, and blood product administration. The RN must be proficient with IV starts and managing ports. The facility supports interdisciplinary teams, including physical and respiratory therapy. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Travelers from specific counties are not eligible for this role.
