12-hour shifts, rotating every other weekend, float within facility as needed Highlights: Neuro/Stroke PCU floor with continuous telemetry monitoring and cardiac drip titration Patient population includes adolescents through geriatrics with mixed medical, respiratory, and cardiac diagnoses 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio on a 36-bed unit with average daily census of 30 Epic EMR, Pyxis, and SBAR communication systems in use Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, and rapid response teams Travel assignment with flexible RTO options (maximum 7 days) Requirements: Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of application Minimum 1 year of RN experience; first-time travelers accepted Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required Experience with telemetry monitoring, cardiac drip titration, and progressive care/stepdown patient populations required Proficiency with dysrhythmia interpretation and management, vasoactive drips, central line care, and airway management Epic charting experience strongly preferred Two supervisory references (manager level or above) required Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This progressive care position offers the ideal blend of critical thinking and complex patient care in a supportive environment with strong interdisciplinary collaboration.
