Description: The registered nurse will care for a diverse patient population ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. The focus will be on mixed medical/surgical and intermediate care patients. Responsibilities include titrating cardiac drips and managing telemetry patients. Assignments may vary based on patient acuity and unit staffing needs. The nurse will work in an interdisciplinary environment with teams such as IV therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams. Daily patient ratio will be 1:4-5. The role requires strong clinical skills in managing various medical conditions, including neuro and respiratory issues. The registered nurse must be available to work on major holidays as part of the commitment. Full compliance with orientation and training requirements is necessary to ensure timely start of duties. Flexibility regarding scheduling and floating within the facility is expected.
