Must-Have: Telemetry experience Ability to read cardiac rhythms Experience with cardiac medications and drips (no titration)
Description: The role involves caring for patients in a cardiac telemetry setting. The nurse will monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms. Responsibilities include administering cardiac medications and maintaining drips. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care. Must be able to manage patient ratios of 5-6. Weekends shifts are required, with a total of 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in telemetry monitoring and reading rhythms. The position requires effective communication and interpersonal skills. A focus on patient safety and quality care is paramount. The nurse will assist in patient and family education regarding cardiac health. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with procedures and managing patient care plans.
