Job Summary: This position requires a skilled and detail-oriented individual to perform mammography services. The successful candidate will prepare diagnostic equipment, conduct testing, operate equipment safely, and develop films in accordance with clinical protocols. Key Responsibilities: Diagnostic Testing: The technologist will be responsible for positioning patients, developing films, and evaluating images for technical quality. Computer System: Accurate input of patient information into the departmental computer system is essential. Clinical Skills: The technologist must maintain confidentiality, provide expert services, and promote patient-focused care. Patient and Employee Safety: Minimizing radiation exposure, following written procedures, and adhering to regulatory standards are critical responsibilities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field is required. Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications are mandatory at hire. American Registry of Mammography Technologists (ARMR) registration is preferred.
