Gas Turbine Engineer Position We are looking for a skilled Gas Turbine Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in the design and analysis of gas turbine engine components. The role involves developing and modifying designs related to aero-engine components, executing mechanical design projects, and evaluating concepts of new designs or improvements. The engineer will also be responsible for capturing design and system requirements from customers and incorporating them into component designs. Key responsibilities include: Developing and modifying designs for aero-engine components Executing mechanical design projects for gas turbine components Evaluating concepts of new designs or improvements Capturing design and system requirements from customers Required skills and qualifications include: Experience in mechanical design of gas turbine or turbo-machinery components Minimum BS/B.Tech in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering Experience with NX and ANSYS (Classic or Workbench) or similar tools Ability to interpret technical drawings and understand GD&T Physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Work Environment: Mostly office environments with occasional shop floor involvement. Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work. Heavily regulated industries with strict adherence to procedures. Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early. Typical 8 hour days plus lunch/40 hour weeks/core hours are 9AM-4PM. Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
