A busy surgery center is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Astoria, NY.
The schedule consists of 8-hour shifts starting between 6:30 and 7:00 AM. The facility currently uses paper charting but is in the process of transitioning to SIS. Case types include sports medicine, hand surgery, orthopedics, pain management, podiatry, and spine surgery. This is a 100% hands-on role for MDs/DOs, and supervision or medical direction is not applicable for CRNAs. There are 3 operating rooms, and 3 physicians in the practice, with 2 other doctors typically present on working days.
