Shift information: M - F 11:00 a- 7:30 p this may flex based on need of the hospitals. No holidays or weekends currently. Types of clients seen: Patients (adults age 18+ ) at Christian NE and NW, Memorial Shiloh, and Belleville.  Clients who are having behavioral problems, extended length of stay and possibly IDD/DD (intellectually developmentally delayed/ developmentally delayed) Autism, and Chronic behavioral Dysregulation, and eating disorders. Location : Christian NE and NW, Memorial Belleville and Shiloh, office space will be at Christian NE and both Memorial sites. MUST HAVE requirements: BCBA certification and eligible to be licensed as an LBA in IL. and a LBA in MO too. This role will need someon to be eligible for both IL and MO. certifications and licenses Job responsibilities: Working 5 days a week, seeing patients when consulted, completing consult assessment, completing follow-up visits. Compiling a treatment plan and educating staff as well as working with the patients. Following patients until discharge and attending patient care conferences when scheduled..
Overview
BJC Behavioral Health is a community health center that provides and coordinates behavioral health services for more than 8,000 seriously mentally ill adults and seriously emotionally disturbed children in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. François, Iron and Washington counties.  As an Administrative Agent of the Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH), BJC Behavioral Health serves as a major point of entry for people eligible for mental health services funded by DMH and is responsible for serving as gatekeeper to the public mental health system.
Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst will be responsible for providing services to patients with developmental and/or behavioral difficulties. In this role, the BCBA will collect and analyze data to develop, monitor, and evaluate behavioral treatment plans. The BCBA will also provide consultation and training to families and professionals, as well as collaborate with other professionals to develop effective treatment plans. The BCBA will work collaboratively with the treatment team to address challenging behaviors, identify replacement behaviors resulting in a reduction in workplace violence events.
Responsibilities Partners with CPI team to help support behavioral escalations, as appropriate. Conduct functional assessments to identify the antecedents, behaviors and consequences of behavior. Develop behavior intervention plans, including strategies for teaching new skills. Provide consultation to families, caregivers and other professionals. Collect and analyze data as directed. BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job. Minimum Requirements Education Master's Degree - Psychology/related Experience 2-5 years Licenses & Certifications Board Cert. Beh. Analyst Preferred Requirements Education Bachelor's Degree Doctorate Experience 5-10 years
