Summary JOB SUMMARY:

Cardiac Sonographers are an integral part of Northwest Hospital's Cardiac Care team!

Coordinates daily operational and clinical activities to assist physicians in the treatment of patients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Performs Diagnostic Studies According to Protocol

Maintains Patient Records according to regulations.

Demonstrates professional responsibility in the Cardiac Sonographer role and ongoing clinical development.

Complies with patient safety goals, policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field

1-3 years of experience

American Heart Association BLS CPR Certification

Cardiac Sonographer Certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing Institute (CCI)
