Job Title: Claims Specialist We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented claims specialist to join our team. As a claims specialist, you will play a critical role in managing attorney-represented bodily injury (BI) claims. Your primary responsibility will be to determine coverage and liability, negotiate with claimants or their attorneys, settle claims and set reserves, estimate the cost of treatment or compensation for those injured in accidents, analyze and interpret medical reports, and manage the claims process to ensure efficient resolution. In addition to your technical skills, you will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders, including claimants, agents/brokers, attorneys, and police. Requirements: Four years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling Associate's degree and three years relevant work experience with one year in claims handling Bachelor's degree and one year in claims handling A valid driver's license and auto insurance Preferred Skills: Auto and/or commercial insurance experience Bodily Injury Handling Experience in WA/OR/HI/CA Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive compensation package, including an annual salary ranging from $67,500 to $87,300 depending on experience.
