Occupational Therapist Role We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. Job Description The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and providing rehabilitative and therapeutic services to patients of all ages. This will involve evaluating patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities using standardized assessments and clinical observation. The Occupational Therapist will identify barriers to performing activities of daily living (ADLs) and establish goals for therapy. They will develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals. The role will also involve utilizing therapeutic techniques, exercises, and interventions to enhance patients' functional abilities. The Occupational Therapist will recommend and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices. Educating patients and their families on therapeutic strategies to improve function and maintain progress at home is also an essential part of this role. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) State licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist Basic Life Support through American Heart Association or American Red Cross Benefits This is a full-time position with a rotating shift schedule.
