Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking a Clinical Nutrition Manager for Howard University Hospital, a Level-1 trauma hospital center which provides top-tier inpatient and outpatient health care services in the Washington DC area.  Start with 3 weeks’ vacation and 3 personal days per calendar year!Reimbursement for Academy dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal!Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually!Full benefits including paid time off, holidays, medical, dental, vision, 401K!Access to ongoing training and development programs!
What You'll Do
The successful candidate will:Manage and lead the clinical nutrition program at the hospital and oversee dietitiansFoster a culture of precepting and mentoring dietetic students that promote career growth and professional developmentUnion experience preferredPro-actively seek out and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholdersDrive Nutrition Department Performance Improvement and Quality Management projectsProvide nutrition care to a variety of patient units as needed

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
