Job Title: Healthcare Lead The healthcare lead is responsible for providing professional nursing care to retired individuals and those in acute, chronic, and terminal phases of illness. The nurse utilizes knowledge of infection control, safety, body mechanics, effective communication skills, interpersonal skills, and age-related differences when providing or delegating care. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality patient care Delegate tasks to other healthcare professionals as needed Communicate effectively with colleagues, staff, and other health care professionals Understand medical records, physician orders, and care plans Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure patient care needs are met Requirements: Associate degree required, bachelor's degree preferred Graduate from an accredited school of nursing Minimum of one year previous experience in gerontology preferred Previous supervisory experience preferred Knowledge of psychotropic drugs and drugs commonly used in geriatric practice Current licensure issued by the Board of Nurse Examiners to practice nursing.
