Job Opportunity: As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a hospital setting. Key Responsibilities: Conduct diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures to meet the needs of patients with respiratory conditions. Initiate and maintain mechanical ventilation as necessary. Respond promptly to emergency situations involving patients. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited program in respiratory therapy or a related field. Licensed by the state board of respiratory care and registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Competent in all procedures within scope of practice, including knowledge of growth and development and treatment needs for various age groups. Ability to obtain and interpret information relevant to patient care. BLS certification required; PALS obtained within 30 days of start date. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required for practitioners working in the NICU.
