Board Certified Infectious Disease Physician

to join our collaborative, physician‑led multispecialty practices across

Greater Houston locations . This is an opportunity to practice

comprehensive infectious disease medicine

in both outpatient and consultative settings, supported by an integrated care model that values clinical expertise, collaboration, and continuity of care. Position Highlights

Consultative Infectious Disease role supporting outpatient and hospital‑based care Longitudinal outpatient clinics with continuity of patient relationships Involvement in

antibiotic stewardship

and quality initiatives Opportunities to support patients transitioning from hospital to outpatient care Initiation and supervision of

home IV therapies Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including Wound Care, Hospital Services, and specialty leadership Participation in virtual and indirect patient care services Practice autonomy supported by a physician‑led, integrated organization Responsibilities

Clinical Care Provide expert consultation in Infectious Disease diagnosis and treatment Perform comprehensive history, physical examinations, test interpretation, and patient counseling Manage outpatient Infectious Disease care and oversee transitions from inpatient settings Initiate and supervise home IV antibiotic therapies Maintain continuity clinics for ongoing patient management Leadership, Quality & Collaboration Collaborate with Associate Medical Specialty Leadership to ensure high‑quality, compliant care delivery Participate in antibiotic stewardship initiatives in partnership with Pharmacy & Therapeutics Supervise Infectious Disease purchased services Educate clinical staff on Infectious Disease diagnosis and treatment Serve as a liaison with Wound Care and Hospital Services leadership Participate in regular specialty and leadership meetings Virtual & Indirect Patient Care Provide virtual Infectious Disease services including video visits, telephone consults, and e‑consults Be available for virtual and telephone consultations during regular business hours Manage indirect patient care responsibilities such as reviewing labs and imaging, renewing prescriptions, responding to patient messages, and communicating results Support quality improvement initiatives across care delivery systems Scheduling

Office hours structured to meet patient demand Practice location and schedule determined based on organizational and patient needs Qualifications

MD or DO Board Certified in Infectious Disease American Board of Internal Medicine or Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Current DEA certification Unrestricted Texas medical license Compensation & Benefits
