Person Memorial Hospital, and the Pathology and Clinical Laboratory are accredited by The Joint Commission.How you’ll contribute The Laboratory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily staff activities within an assigned laboratory area or function. This role coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and service levels, provides guidance and support to laboratory staff, and ensures quality, compliance, and operational efficiency. The Laboratory Supervisor leads the work of team members performing similar duties, setting priorities, scheduling, and reviewing work, while not holding responsibility for hiring, termination, compensation, or final performance decisions. Additional responsibilities include staff orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring; assisting with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions; ensuring compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols; and addressing complex issues or complaints.
