Job Responsibilities and Duties:

* Conduct initial addiction and psychiatric admissions and evaluations

* Develop and manage treatment plans for detox and residential patients

* Perform regular rounds on detox patients and occasional rounds on residential patients

* Schedule and conduct follow-up appointments (weekly or bi-weekly)

* Provide medication management and adjustments as needed

* Be available for after-hours on-call support (1-4 calls per month on average)

* Utilize Kipu electronic health record system

* Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care

* Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Additional Information:

* New York state license required

* Familiarity with addiction medicine and psychiatric care essential

* Experience in detox and residential treatment settings preferred

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
