Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist in a variety of cardiothoracic procedures, including CABG, bronchoscopy, and chest surgeries

• Perform pre-operative assessments and post-operative care

• Conduct patient rounds and manage post-surgical care

• Provide on-call coverage during weekdays and weekends (low intensity)

• Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals

• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for patient documentation

• Manage care for cardiac (75%) and lung/chest (20%) cases primarily

• Assist in procedures such as atrial ablation/maze, femoral-femoral bypass grafts, and pericardial window creation

• Participate in sternal debridement and excision of chest and mediastinal masses/tumors

• Priority dates: June 18th 7 AM - June 23rd 7 AM, July 3rd 7 AM - July 14th 7 AM

• Wisconsin state license is mandatory for this position

• Possibility of assignment extension
