Practice Setting

• Coverage is needed at a mix of inpatient and outpatient sites.
• Settings include a Level 1 Trauma Center, community hospitals, and ambulatory surgery centers.
• This is primarily a supervisory role with some opportunities for solo cases.
• The anesthesia care team model does not utilize Anesthesiologist Assistants.

Schedule

• Assignments for fall and winter are still available.
• Work consistent daytime hours during your assignment.
• This ongoing need offers flexibility for future scheduling.

Procedures and Cases

• Handle a variety of cases including general, bariatric, orthopedic, and GYN.
• Case mix also includes thoracic, vascular, neurosurgical, and ENT.
• Perform general anesthesia, blocks, and epidurals.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Anesthesiology.
• Hold an active Massachusetts state license.
• Minimum of 24 months of postgraduate experience.

Credentialing Requirements

• Credentialing timeframe is approximately 60-90 days.
• Dedicated support is available to streamline the process.

Travel Accommodations

• Travel and lodging accommodations provided.
• Malpractice insurance is included for the duration of the assignment.
