Cardiac Electrophysiology Physician - Flexible Schedule, Minnesota

We're seeking a Board-Certified Cardiac Electrophysiology Physician for an ongoing locums assignment in Minnesota. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule and the client is willing to pay for your Minnesota medical license, making it an excellent PRN fit.

Highlights

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient & outpatient medical settings.
• Support staff includes 3 RNs, 1 MA, and 3 PAs/NPs.
• Handle mostly General Cardiac EP cases.

Schedule

• ASAP - ongoing dates still available.
• Expect 2 weeks (10 days) per month through August, then 1 week (5 days) per month ongoing.
• M-F schedule: 3 clinical days and 2 procedure/hospital days.

Procedures and Cases

• Perform Ablations (afib, aflutter, svt, VT, etc.).
• Manage AFIB, Pacemakers, and ICDs.
• Anticipate ~15 patients per clinical day; 3-4 procedures per day.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Active Minnesota medical license or Open to IMLC Physicians.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 24 months of experience.

Credentialing Requirements

• Credentialing timeframe is within 90 days.
• Will wait for license with an active IMLC Letter of Qualification.
