Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct daily rounds on 5-20 cardiology patients

• Provide general non-invasive cardiology consultations

• Manage inpatient cardiology care and treatment plans

• Respond to phone consultations during night call hours

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the cardiology service line

• Interpret cardiac diagnostic tests and recommend appropriate treatments

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Cerner EMR system

• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and cardiology practice standards

• Participate in care coordination with primary care providers and other specialists

• Provide patient and family education on cardiac health and disease management

Additional Information:

• Must be a board-certified Cardiologist with active Maryland medical license

• Experience in general consultative cardiology required
