Opportunity Snapshot

• Location: Dyersburg, TN

• Facility: Community Hospital with Full Subspecialty Backup

• Contract Type: Locum Tenens – Emergency Medicine (Physician & APP)

• Start Date: Ongoing needs for 2025

• Schedule:

  • 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Day Shift)

  • 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Night Shift)

  • Flexible options | Minimum 5–6 shifts/month

• Annual ED Volume: ~24,000 visits

• Patient Load: ~1.5 Patients per Hour (PPH)

• Beds: 16 ED Beds (225 total hospital beds)

• Support Model:

  • 3 Physicians + 1 APP on Day Shift

  • APPs: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM & 2:00 PM – 2:00 AM

Candidate Requirements

• Active Tennessee Medical License

• Board Certification: ABEM/ABIM/ABFM accepted

• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS

• DEA Registration Required

• Minimum Experience: 1+ year post-residency Emergency or Acute Care experience
