Job Title: Emergency Medicine Physician Job Specialty: Emergency Medicine Job Duration: 12 months Shift: 2x12 Days, 24-hour coverage Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current Emergency Medicine experience required License: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine Certifications: Must be board certified Must-Have: Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends; readiness to work in the main hospital and affiliated sites Job Description: - Join our team of healthcare professionals in a state-of-the-art, modern emergency department, recently renovated and expanded. - Work in an 18-bed emergency department with an annual volume of 20,000. - Daily physician coverage of 24 hours with 12-hour shifts. - Additional patient care support provided by Advanced Practice Providers during peak times. - Utilize Meditech P-doc Electronic Medical Records and M-Modal Dictation systems. - Benefit from the primary stroke center designation and additional support such as phlebotomy during surges and emergencies like sepsis or stroke alerts. - Onsite imaging services including MRI, CT scan, X-ray, and Ultrasound available.
