About The Position
Job Title: Emergency Medicine Physician Profession: Physician Specialty: Emergency Medicine Duration: 12 months Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: BE/BC Certifications: ABEM/ABOEM Must-Have: Board-certified physicians Description: Urgent position seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician. Join a dynamic team in a fast-paced emergency department. The annual volume of the emergency department is approximately 25,000. The department is equipped with 12 emergency department beds. This is a designated Level IV Trauma Center. Transport services are available on-site. Shifts consist of 12 hours with single physician coverage during the day. Two advanced practice providers are available to assist during the day. During the night, one physician and one advanced practice provider are in-house. The facility is equipped to provide comprehensive emergency care services. Services include heart attack treatment as an accredited Chest Pain Center. A 24/7 STEMI program is available with interventional cardiology services. There is a 24-hour cardiac catheterization lab with an on-call team. The facility is also a certified Primary Stroke Center. The emergency medical staff collaborate with local EMS providers for swift assessments. The goal is to provide efficient stroke care treatment. The emergency department is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Diagnostic imaging and testing capabilities are available on-site. A dedicated trauma room is specifically for trauma patients. The team is committed to delivering high-quality and accessible emergency care.
