We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 1-day locum tenens assignment in Texas, starting on Aug 2, 2025. This role involves a 24-hour shift at a Trauma Center with a hospital and ER, handling a very low volume and acuity of cases.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical services in a hospital with a ER
• Manage a patient demographic comprising 30% Pediatrics, 40% Geriatrics, 5-10% Trauma, and 20-25% Other
• Perform common procedures such as suturing and other lifesaving interventions as needed
• Collaborate with onsite specialists including Family Practice, Internal Medicine, and General Surgery
• Utilize the Cerner EMR system for documenting patient care

Additional Information

• Must be licensed to practice in Texas
• Experience in rural healthcare and emergency medicine is highly preferred
