Practice Setting

• Inpatient hospital setting
• Adult-only consults
• 141-bed hospital
• No admissions, no resident supervision

Schedule

• On-site 8-hour days
• Only 2 weeks per month
• Night call required (light volume)
• Beeper call with 30-minute response time

Procedures and Cases

• General GI consults with endoscopy needs
• Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, variceal injection
• Colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision
• No ERCP or EUS required, but preferred

Requirements

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• FL license required (no IMLC)
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 36 months experience

Credentialing Requirements

• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 45 days
• Temporary privileges available

Travel Accommodations

• Travel and lodging provided
• Nearest airport: Tampa International (TPA)
