Arlington, WA Hospitalist Physician Locum Tenens Opportunity | No Procedures | Epic EMR

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician for a Hospitalist locum tenens assignment in Arlington, Washington.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative inpatient team at a well-respected acute care hospital with consistent volume, no procedural requirements, and flexible shift options. Providers will enjoy full APP support, vent management responsibilities, and scenic access to both Puget Sound and the Cascade Mountains.

• Contract Type: Locum Tenens – Hospitalist

• Facility Type: 48-Bed Acute Care Hospital

• ICU: 6 beds | Open Model (Physician-managed)

• EMR: Epic

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed

• Credentialing Timeline: 3–4 months (Temps possible, but not guaranteed)

• Travel & Lodging: Provided

Schedule

• Day Shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• Night Shifts: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

• Swing Shifts: Not currently utilized

• Day Team: 2–3 Physicians + 1 APP

• Night Coverage: 1 Physician

Daily Responsibilities

• Day Physicians: Admissions, rounding, and discharges

• Night Physician: Admissions + full cross-coverage for hospitalist census

• APPs: Rounding and discharges only; do not work in ICU

• Average Daily Census per Provider: 10–15

• Average Night Admissions: 5

• ICU Coverage: Vent management required for physicians only

• Code Response: Led by ED; hospitalist encouraged to participate in RRT if on service

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certification: Internal Medicine or Family Medicine – Board Certified

• Certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA Required)

• Licensure: Active WA Medical License or ability to obtain

• Experience: Vent management experience required for physicians

• New Grads: Considered based on overall profile and confidence with inpatient care
