Rhino Medical is actively seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join a critical hospitalist program in Moberly, Missouri. This is a long-term locum tenens assignment in a 99-bed regional medical center with a 10-bed ICU. Physicians with strong critical care skills and the ability to manage vents and ICU patients independently are encouraged to apply.

• ICU: 10 beds (Open ICU)

• Average Census: 15-17 Patients per Day

Shift Details

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (on-site)

• Night Call: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (on-call from home)

• Block Scheduling: Preferred 5–7 consecutive shifts per assignment

EMR System: Medhost

Call Requirement: Yes – physicians must be able to manage vents and ICU patients; ED serves as backup for procedures

Procedures Preferred:

• Intubations

• Central Lines

• Vent Management (Required)

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certification: ABIM or ABFM (Required)

• Licensure: Active Missouri Medical License & DEA

• Certifications: ACLS Required

• Experience: Proficiency managing ICU patients and ventilators independently

• Credentialing: Emergency Temp Privileges Available – Clean Files Only
