• Admissions: - 3-5 peds & 3-15 newborn/nursery patients.
• Duties: - Provide resident teaching/precepting. - The attending physician for any children admitted through the ER or by direct admit. - The attending for newborns admitted to the well-baby nursery after delivery.
• Required Procedures: Pediatric resuscitation and intubation and lumbar punctures.
• EMR: Cerner Care B
• Other Info: - Does not have ICU patients; A PICU & NICU is covered by neonatologists. - Emergency codes are run by EM physicians. - Neonatologists will attend all high-risk deliveries.
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
