Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, Monday 7 AM to Monday 7 AM

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for pediatric pulmonology services 

• Conduct in-person rounds and consultations from 8 AM to 5 PM 

• Handle 10-25 consultations per week while on call 

• Perform 1-2 bronchoscopies per week (with assistance from current providers if needed) 

• Respond to emergency calls and critical procedures as needed

• Diagnose and treat complex pediatric respiratory conditions 

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care 

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records 

• Communicate effectively with patients' families about care plans and progress 

• Be available for out-of-house call from 5 PM to 8 AM, except for critical procedures

Additional Information: 

• New York medical license required for this position 

• Strong experience in pediatric pulmonology and critical care is essential 

• Comfort with working independently during 24-hour shifts is crucial 

• Ability to manage a diverse range of pediatric respiratory cases
