About The Position
Job Title: Physician Profession: Medicine Specialty: Radiology-Diagnostic Duration: 13 months Shift: Days Monday to Friday Hours per Shift: 8am to 5pm Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Active Florida license required Certifications: Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology; Fellowship in Interventional Radiology required Must-Have: Proficient in venous access, DVT and PE intervention Dialysis access management Interventional oncology, including multimodality ablation Urologic procedures Basic image-guided procedures, including but not limited to, biopsies and drainages Description: A diagnostic radiology position is available. The role will involve cross-credentialing at multiple locations. A call interview/Zoom meeting with clinical leadership will be required. The clinician will have the opportunity to ask any additional questions during the call. The expectation includes reading 70-80 diagnostic cases in between interventional radiology cases. Interventional radiology clinicians are expected to read 6-10 RVUs per hour plus perform IR procedures. Monthly meetings for trauma and tumor board discussions will be necessary. Approximately 30-40% of the workload will be interventional radiology, with the remainder dedicated to diagnostic cases. The volume of diagnostic cases is around 6,500 per month, with 50-80 interventional radiology cases and 80 mammography cases monthly. Shifts will require call and weekend duties. Candidates must have the required skills in multiple advanced procedures as outlined above.
