We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant Lead to guide and support our team of medical assistants. This full-time leadership role is integral to ensuring a seamless, compassionate, and efficient patient care experience. You will be responsible for overseeing daily clinical operations, optimizing workflows, and mentoring team members to uphold the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Mentor and support medical assistants, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
- Clinical Support: Perform routine medical assistant duties to stay connected with frontline care and patient needs.
- Workflow Optimization: Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve patient flow.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor team performance and ensure compliance with clinical protocols and quality standards.
- Care Coordination: Manage pharmacy communications, referrals, and follow-ups to ensure continuity of care.
- Patient Support: Assist patients in navigating their care, including scheduling appointments with specialists and accessing available resources.
- Communication Liaison: Serve as a key point of contact between medical assistants, clinicians, and leadership.
- Training & Development: Lead onboarding and training for new team members, ensuring readiness and excellence in care delivery.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on team performance and operational metrics to leadership.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a medical assistant, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Willingness to work across multiple office locations as needed.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative team mindset.
- Proficiency with EHR systems, telemedicine platforms, and general office software.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Compensation details: 24-26 Hourly Wage
