About the Role:

We are seeking a dependable, hard-working, and patient-focused Medical Receptionist to join our team. This full-time position plays a critical role in supporting our clinics in Holmdel and Neptune, and requires flexibility to work out of both locations based on scheduling needs.

As the first point of contact for patients, the ideal candidate will have a professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism

  • Answer multi-line phones and schedule appointments accurately using our EMR system

  • Verify insurance information, collect co-pays, and assist with billing inquiries

  • Maintain and update electronic patient records with accuracy and confidentiality

  • Perform general administrative duties including scanning, faxing, filing, and managing referrals

  • Ensure front desk areas at both locations are clean, stocked, and organized

  • Provide consistent support to clinical staff and patients

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • At least 1 year of experience in a medical office or customer service role

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and EMR systems

  • Strong work ethic and dependability

  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain composure under pressure

  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to work in both Holmdel and Neptune clinics

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in a healthcare-related field

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification

  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and front desk workflows
