As a leader in the medical surgical field, this role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our unit. The RN Manager position requires a strong background in nursing and leadership skills to effectively manage a team of approximately 90 staff members. The unit consists of 29 beds and provides direct care to adult patients with acute and/or chronic medical conditions. We provide care for internal medicine and surgical patients, as well as those requiring peritoneal dialysis and DKA treatment. Our patients are typically admitted with primary medical surgical diagnoses such as sepsis, cellulitis, kidney disorders, and multiple co-morbidities. The Nurse Manager of Clinical Operations must have a relentless drive towards excellence and possess a spirit of continual improvement. They will be accountable for the 24/7 operations of their defined unit(s) and establish an environment where healing and wellness are optimized. The Nurse Manager leads effective care delivery through strong caregiver engagement, wise use of resources, and compassionately holding others accountable for their behaviors and actions.
