Travel Occupational Therapist Job Opportunity We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate occupational therapist to fill a 13-week travel assignment in Los Gatos, California. About the Position: The successful candidate will be responsible for creating personalized therapy plans based on patient assessments, evidence-based practices, and patient goals. The occupational therapist will deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions and treatments in accordance with the established treatment plan. Duties will include providing direct, hands-on therapy using adaptive techniques, modalities, and assistive devices to improve functional abilities in daily living and work-related tasks. Patient education will also be a key component of the role, as therapists will educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals, techniques, and strategies to enhance independence in activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental ADLs. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary healthcare team will be essential to ensure coordinated, holistic care. Patient progress will be tracked through regular evaluations, with treatment plans modified as needed and accurate documentation maintained in the medical record. Quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities will also be encouraged to stay current with best practices in occupational therapy. Requirements: A valid Occupational Therapy license in compliance with state regulations is required. Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is necessary.
