MRI Technologist - Nights

Schedule: Wed - Thur - Fri 6:30p - 7am
Overview:
Performs specialized MRI procedures on patients, resulting in diagnostic images for interpretation by a radiologist. Also provides the patient care essential to these procedures. Applies principles of MR safety. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or MRI Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
- Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor degree program
- Licensure/Certifications: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT 1 Advanced registry (MRI)- working in the area. BLS Basic Life Support
- Other Skills & Knowledge: IV Insertion· Technical skill in medical scanning, understanding of cross sectional anatomy, and 3-D knowledge.
- Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements:Manipulating equipment, lifting, moving, and transporting patients.· Continual standing or walking.· Adapt to stressful situations.
- Equipment Used: Should be proficient in the use of MRI Scanners, Power Injectors, workstations and Computers.
- Preferred Education: Bachelor degree
