Description Job Summary We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Outpatient Cardiology team in Texarkana, TX . This role focuses on providing comprehensive cardiovascular care in a clinic-based setting, working collaboratively with cardiologists and the broader care team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiology or a related specialty and a strong commitment to patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities

* Provide outpatient evaluation and management of patients with cardiovascular conditions * Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits * Manage chronic cardiac conditions such as hypertension, heart failure, arrhythmias, and coronary artery disease * Order and interpret diagnostic testing including labs, EKGs, and cardiac imaging * Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle modifications for heart health * Collaborate closely with cardiologists and clinic staff to ensure coordinated patient care * Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR

Qualifications

* Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant * National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA) * Previous cardiology, internal medicine, or acute care experience preferred * Strong clinical assessment and communication skills * Ability to work independently in an outpatient clinic setting

Schedule & Compensation
