Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a

Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN Nocturnist

to join our growing team at

Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital . This position is primarily based at the Willowbrook campus and focuses on

overnight, in-house coverage

within a respected academic health system. Qualifications Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Strong clinical judgment with the ability to manage high-acuity obstetric patients independently

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset

Prior experience as a nocturnist or hospital-based OB/GYN preferred

Interest in resident education and supervision preferred (but not required)

Responsibilities Provide

overnight, in-house OB/GYN coverage

for Labor & Delivery, obstetric triage, and emergency gynecologic care

Manage laboring patients, obstetric emergencies, and unassigned patients during night shifts

Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections as clinically indicated

Collaborate closely with nursing staff, anesthesia, neonatology, and daytime OB/GYN teams to ensure continuity of care

Supervise and support OB/GYN residents during overnight shifts, as applicable

Participate in quality and safety initiatives related to obstetric care

Night shifts are structured and scheduled to support work-life balance; weekend and holiday coverage included per nocturnist schedule
