Oral Health Specialist We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Oral Health Specialist to provide exceptional patient care, conduct thorough dental exams, and implement personalized treatment plans to promote optimal oral health. Job Summary The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough dental exams, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth, implementing personalized treatment plans to address patient needs and concerns, developing and maintaining excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues, and staying up-to-date with industry developments and advancements through ongoing education and training. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough dental exams, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth. Implement personalized treatment plans to address patient needs and concerns. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements through ongoing education and training. Required Qualifications Dental hygiene license in Ohio (or ability to obtain within 6 months). Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required). Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening. Preferred Qualifications New Grads and experienced hygienists encouraged to apply. Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems. Working Conditions Prolonged periods sitting and standing. Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
