Job Overview
As a PCA/PSS, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients' independence and well-being. You'll work in clients' homes, providing personalized care with compassion and respect. We are hiring for SAME CLIENT DAY SHIFT IN SEAL HARBOR 5 DAYS A WEEK M-F FULL TIME HOURS
Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Help with mobility, including transfers and ambulation
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary
Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and cleaning
Provide companionship and engage clients in suitable activities
Monitor clients' condition and report any changes to supervisors
Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed
Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with transportation
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Certification in First Aid and CPR
Valid driver's license
Ability to pass a background check
Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and patient demeanor
PSS certification or ability to obtain
Preferred Skills
Previous experience as a caregiver or personal care assistant
Knowledge of best practices in providing personal care
Certification such as CNA, LNA
