Job Description: The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care to pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures. This position involves ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of patients throughout the perioperative process. Additionally, the Registered Nurse will be responsible for managing tracheostomy (trach) care with ventilator support and addressing other respiratory conditions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in patient assessment, medication administration, post-operative care, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver the highest standard of care to our pediatric patients. Responsibilities: Provide routine and complex care to pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures. Manage tracheostomy (trach) care with ventilator support and address other respiratory conditions. Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers. Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols. Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information. Requirements: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN), preferred. 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty, preferred. RN License in the state of employment or compact. BLS certification required. Work Schedule: 7PM - 7AM Full-time position available.
