Job Title: Perioperative Care Specialist
Immerse yourself in a dynamic and challenging role as a Perioperative Care Specialist in our state-of-the-art operating room. This position requires a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to oversee patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Responsibilities: Provide exceptional patient care and support to patients undergoing various surgical procedures, including orthopedic, gynecologic, and eye surgeries.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Develop and implement individualized plans of care to meet the unique needs of each patient.
Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform other essential nursing tasks to maintain patient safety and comfort.
Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program with current licensure in North Carolina or a Compact State.
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
AHA ACLS and AHA PALS certifications required within six months of hire.
Handle With Care training required within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications: One year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a perioperative setting preferred.
