About The Position
Job Title: Urology Physician Profession: Physician Specialty: Urology Duration: Permanent Shift: Day - 8x5 - 09 AM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3 years of residency License: California license required; willingness to obtain California FLURO Certifications: ACLS required Must-Have: - General Urology skills - Advanced endoscopic techniques - Laparoscopic surgeries - Ureteroscopy - Nephrectomy - Prostatectomy - Pelvic node dissection - Renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy - TRUS biopsies - Fertility work-up Description: This is a permanent position for a Urology Physician. The physician will be required to manage patient encounters, averaging 20 per shift. The facility operates at a trauma level 3. The following advanced skills are required: - General Urology - Laparoscopic surgeries - Nephrectomy - Prostatectomy - Pelvic node dissection - Renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy - TRUS biopsies - Fertility work-up Additional preferred skills include advanced techniques such as robotic surgery, radical cystectomy, and partial nephrectomy. Orientation will consist of 360 hours. Candidates must provide proof of required certifications upon hire. Candidates must be capable of providing care to both adult and pediatric populations. This position is available on an ongoing basis.
